Meet Jodie
Jodie is an award-winning Registered Mental Health Nurse, Independent Nurse Prescriber and healthcare leader, with over a decade of clinical experience and a career spanning frontline nursing through to senior leadership within the NHS, including five years as a Head of Nursing. She also holds an MSc in Leadership in Healthcare, reflecting her extensive experience in clinical leadership, governance and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Since qualifying as a nurse in 2013, Jodie spent more than a decade working within the NHS, progressing through clinical and leadership roles and gaining extensive experience in complex patient care, service development, clinical governance and healthcare leadership. She qualified as an Independent Nurse Prescriber in 2019 and has since developed specialist experience across aesthetics, skin health, regenerative treatments and wellness.
It was this combination of clinical experience and a growing passion for healthy ageing, longevity and preventative wellness that led to the creation of CURA.
Jodie believes treatments should be safe, ethical, evidence-based and genuinely appropriate for the individual. Her approach isn't about chasing trends or changing how someone looks, but helping people feel well, look well and invest in their health and confidence for the long term.
Her contribution to nursing has been recognised throughout her career, including Student Nursing Times Mental Health Nurse of the Year, the Angela Gallagher Memorial Award, and Rising Star of the Year awards in 2016 and 2023. She was also invited to judge the prestigious Student Nursing Times Awards in 2023 and 2024.
Today, Jodie brings together her clinical, prescribing and leadership experience at CURA Wellness & Aesthetics — creating a trusted, nurse-led environment where aesthetics, skin health, wellness and longevity are approached with the same high standards of safety, professionalism and care that have shaped her career.
